Addison, AL, August 1, 2006--Manufactured housing producer Cavalier Homes Inc., announced second quarter earnings of $161 thousand or $0.01 per share, compared to $769 thousand or $0.04 per share in the corresponding quarter of the prior year.
For the quarter, the company's revenues were $58.77 million, down from $60 million in the same period a year-ago. Floor shipments declined 11% to 2,394 floors in the second quarter from 2,690 floors in the same period of last year.
For the half-year, the company said it earned $1.83 million or $0.10 per share, compared to a net loss of $1.38 million or $0.08 per share in the year-ago period. Revenues rose to $133.72 million from $115.12 million in the same period of last year.
