Carpet Recycling UK To Push Message at Show

London, England, April 8, 2011 -- Carpet Recycling UK is taking its message to the AIS/Flooring One and Buying Groups National Flooring Show in Solihull this May.

CRUK, the industry-backed association for recycling and reusing waste carpet, is making its debut at Cranmore Park from May 17-19 to raise awareness among retailers that carpet waste can be recycled, rather than landfilled, through its nationwide recycling service.

“By offering a take-back and recycling service for consumers’ old carpets, retailers have the opportunity to enhance their business and ‘green’ credentials, as well as potentially save on disposal costs,” said CRUK director Laurance Bird.
