Carpet Reclamation Network Expands to 40
Dalton, GA, March 21, 2007--The carpet reclamation network continues to expand as an increasing number of facilities open their door to collect and recycle post-consumer carpet across the United States and Canada. The Carpet America Recovery Effort (CARE) has said that the carpet reclamation network has added a new partner Nylene Canada Inc of Amprior, Canada.
The past year has shown tremendous growth in the number of carpet reclamation centers available to receive post-consumer carpet in different regions across the nation. Since January of 2006, 28 new facilities have been joined the carpet reclamation network helping to increase the amount of carpet diverted from our nation's landfills.
All totaled, there are now 40 such facilities within the network. If you would like to know more about the carpet recovery effort or to locate a carpet reclamation facility near you, visit CARE website at carpetrecovery.org.
