Dalton, GA, April 13, 2017—Mohawk and Shaw have issued price increases. Mohawk’s increase impacts residential and commercial broadloom and modular carpet, while Shaw’s affects residential and commercial broadloom as well as sheet vinyl. Both take effect May 26.

Mohawk’s residential and commercial broadloom and modular carpet product prices will increase by 3% to 5%, with a minimum increase of $.18 per yard on all sub-FHA constructions. In addition, Aladdin broadloom and modular products will be moved to net 30 billing terms; Aladdin-branded mainstreet commercial carpet pricing will remain unchanged.

Shaw’s carpet, modular carpet and resilient sheet product prices will increase by 4% to 7%, and the company’s Philadelphia Commercial brand will transition to net terms.

This is the second price increase in 2017.
