Carpet One Members Vote Momeni Rug Top Pick

Manchester, NH, March 9, 2006--At their recent annual winter convention in Anaheim, California, Carpet One invited members to vote for the best overall area rug presented by vendors. After tallying votes from hundreds of members, Carpet One revealed that "The Chosen One," as they dubbed the winner, was from Momeni's Persian Garden Collection. The Chosen style, PG-01 Salmon, is available in eight sizes, including two round options. It is machine made in China, from 100% New Zealand Wool. Suggested retail value for a 5x8 area rug is $499. "'The Chosen One' contest was extremely popular and motivated a lot of Carpet One members to visit the area rug booth," said Ann Nusbaum, director of area rug and windows for CCA Global Partners. "Our members are tough critics, so being chosen as the top pick among so many other vendors and styles is really quite an honor. I have to agree with the members; this Momeni style was one of my favorites this year!" Carpet One's annual winter convention was held February 22 - 24, 2006 at the Hilton Anaheim Hotel and Convention Center in Anaheim. More than 600 members from the U.S. and Canada attended the convention.
