Carpet One Members Hear Two Famous Speakers

Grapevine, TX, Aug. 8, 2014 -- Carpet One Floor & Home members gathered this week to network with their fellow store members and receive updates on new products and programs.

The theme – Go Beyond…Together – builds upon their winter convention theme and reminds the group of independent retailers to keep working towards improving their business.

The event hosted two highly acclaimed speakers – Jason Dorsey and Robin Crow.

Dorsey returned to Carpet One Floor & Home Convention after a presentation to members in January at their winter convention.

Dorsey is known as the “Gen Y Guy.” He has written many bestselling books including Y-Size Your Business and My Reality Check Bounced!

His presentation to members helped them understand the importance of relating to the younger generation.

Crow is a recording artist and business owner. His company, Dark Horse Recording, is home to well-known artists such as Faith Hill, Neil Diamond, Taylor Swift, Matchbox 20 and many more. His newest book, Evolve or Die, is a USA Today Best-Seller.

Crow encouraged members to learn how to adapt to change in order to help their businesses thrive.
