Carpet Network Merges With FCI

Colchester, VT, July 14, 2011 -- Traveling floor and window store Carpet Network of Colchester said it has recently joined with Floor Coverings International, a franchised shop-at-home flooring retailer.

Local owner Kyle Santor will keep his showroom while gaining access to additional products and resources for his clients.

When Carpet Network closed early this year, Tom Wood, president and CEO of FCI, realized that many of its franchise owners could struggle without the support of their franchisor.

Wood decided to offer to convert their businesses to FCI franchises.
