Carpet King Inventory Up for Auction Next Month

Boardman, OH, Nov. 29, 2010 -- Flooring inventory at three stores operated by the Remnant Room Inc. will be put up for auction Dec. 6, according to The Business Journal.

The company file for bankruptcy liquidation Nov. 2.

The stores, which did business as Carpet King's Factory Outlet, were closed in late October. The company also operated stores in Austintown and Warren.

Bankruptcy documents show the company has assets of $69,539.32 and liabilities of $352,225.54.

According to the story, Remnant Room's largest creditor is Mohawk Factoring Inc., owed $144,088 for carpet supplies.
