Carpet Exchange Plans Expansion

Boulder, CO, May 4---Carpet Exchange has purchased a new property in Boulder, Colorado, and plans to build a 7,800-square-foot building there to replace its existing Boulder showroom, according to the Daily Camera. The Denver-based company will expand with a store that's three times larger than its 15-year-old showroom. "The property was a good real estate investment, but it also allows us to create a showroom that is like our other locations and with room to show off everything we offer," said Bruce Odette, president of Carpet Exchange. Its new Boulder showroom is scheduled to open Dec. 1. Carpet Exchange was shut out of moving to the Twenty Ninth Street shopping center because of tenant restrictions there required by Home Depot, which is locating at the 62-acre mall under construction now, Odette said. Plans for the new Carpet Exchange building are under city review for building permits.
