Carpet Designers To Be Honored at Domotex

Hannover. Germany, Aug. 27, 2010-- Top designers of handmade carpets will be honored at Domotex Hannover, world's leading trade fair for the flooring sector, next Jan. 15-18.

For the first time the competition is also open to manufacturers who are not exhibitors at the trade show.

A panel of experts will judge carpets in 10 categories on the basis of key criteria, in particular quality of design, materials and crafting, as well as creativity and innovation.

The three best entries selected in each category will be presented on the Carpet Design Awards stand and the first-place winner in each category will receive a prize of 1,000 Euros and a trophy.

The entry deadline is Nov. 5.
