CARE Adds to Board of Directors

Amelia Island, FL, April 29, 2011 --  The Carpet America Recovery Effort named its 2011 board of directors at the group's ninth Annual Conference April 27-29

The carpet recycling organization re-elected two board veterans and added two new faces to its 17-member board.

Ron Greitzer, president of Los Angeles Fiber and Reliance Carpet Cushion and Sean Ragiel, president of New Jersey-based CarpetCycle were re-elected to represent the entrepreneur community.

Thomas Holland, president and owner of Texas Carpet Recycling and Corporate Floors (a Starnet dealer), also joined the board as an entrepreneur.

Holland joined CARE in 2006 and founded Texas Carpet Recycling shortly thereafter. Holland presents CEU courses about carpet recycling to the Dallas/Fort Worth design and construction professionals. He has also been involved in Starnet in both the environmental and maintenance committees.

Sheri Gorman, sales professional with New York-area carpet dealer and recycler RD Weiss Companies, is an at-large member. Gorman, a LEED AP with a background in interior design, established an annual Earth Day carpet sample and sample book recycling initiative at RD Weiss.
