Capel Extends Lease at AmericasMart

Atlanta, GA, September 28, 2007--Capel Rugs has extended its long-standing AmericasMart Atlanta alliance with a new five-year lease agreement—highlighted by an expansive and comprehensive renovation to its 6th floor showroom—and further broadening its product and service mix in the nation’s largest area rug marketplace.

Occupancy is scheduled for December with a grand opening in January during the Atlanta International Area Rug Market.

The new space in AmericasMart will be one of the Area Rug Center’s premier showrooms and continues the 6th floor’s reconfiguration. Renowned designer Susan Bradford is redesiging the space.

Founded in 1917, Capel is America's oldest manufacturer and importer of area rugs.  The family-owned business has been operating at AmericasMart 1966.
