CAP Carpet Investing in Four St. Louis Stores

St. Louis, MO, Dec. 23, 2008--Floor retailer The Floor Trader said it plans to open four locations in the St. Louis area next year.

The investment is coming from established retailer CAP Carpets, which ranked 46th on Floor Focus's Top 100 retailers list this year with estimated sales of $43 million.

Each store will display hundreds of samples of carpet, hardwood, bamboo, cork, laminate, vinyl, stone, slate, ceramic and porcelain.

One store is new and the other three are transitioning from former GCO Flooring Outlets, said Ashlee Coleman, a company spokeswoman.
