Call for Entries for Vision Design Awards 2017

Chattanooga, TN, November 3, 2016— Entries are now being accepted for the 2017 Vision Design Awards. Now in its eighth year, the competition invites designers and architects in North America to submit projects that demonstrate beautiful integration of the flooring into the overall design of the space.

This year’s competition is open to any North American project that was completed after January 1, 2015 and has not previously been submitted to the contest.

Unlike many competitions, there is no restriction on the type of flooring used. Categories of entry are Healthcare, Education, Corporate, Hospitality and Retail. Winners will be featured in the April issue of Floor Focus, receive a cash prize and be treated to an expense paid weekend in September to the annual celebration weekend.

Since the inception of the Vision Design Awards, Floor Focus has been fortunate to rely on forward thinking sponsors who support the concept of a blind jury process and allow any project to be entered regardless of the type of flooring that was installed. Bentley Mills, Crossville Tile and Johnsonite – A Tarkett Company have partnered with Floor Focus from the beginning.
