Atlanta, GA, July 11, 2006--Brintons, the leading producer of woven Axminster carpet, has introduced a new collection of custom carpet and rug patterns for its Studio Influence series. Found Objects, created by senior designer Joe D'Alusio, focuses on natural textures, shapes and colorations.
Describing his concept in developing the collection, D'Alusio notes, "Each pattern is crafted of weaves, mottles and natural forms that are subdued by the random beauty of implied oxidation and decomposition. Ravaged leaves and vines are paired with weathered grids--lines to forge a composition that feels 'discovered' rather than 'produced'." The color palette blends a range of greens, from light patina to rich olive, with brown and copper, however the custom designs may be re-colored to match your project.
Designed to inspire and support ground-breaking use of pattern and color in carpet, the Studio Influence series showcases the design talents of Brintons' global design team. A wide range of hospitality projects and other commercial venues have received their inspiration from this expansive series.
Like other groupings, Found Objects features patterns fitting for lobbies, ballrooms and prefunction areas, as well as coordinating designs for corridors, qorders, area rugs and insets.
