Wellesley Hills, MA, September 14--American Biltrite Inc. announced that Leo R. Breitman has been elected to its board of directors.
Mr. Breitman was chairman and CEO of Fleet Bank - Massachusetts and served as senior lending officer of Fleet Boston Financial until his retirement earlier this year. He is also active in numerous civic and philanthropic organizations in the Boston area.
Mr. Roger Marcus, chairman of the board, commented "We are delighted to add someone with Leo's experience to our board."
American Biltrite manufactures flooring, pressure sensitive tapes and protective films, and industrial rubber products and sells and services costume jewelry. American Biltrite owns 55% of Congoleum.
