Braun Named to NAM Advocacy Committee

Dalton, GA, April 24, 2007--Carpet and Rug Institute (CRI) president Werner Braun has been invited to serve as a member of the Advocacy Committee for the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM).

The NAM's Council of Manufacturing Associations recently restructured its Government Relations Committee into this new Advocacy Committee.

The new committee will work closely with the NAM policy staff in determining priority issues on which the Council can focus its efforts and also look at the ways in which Council members can actively participate in the advocacy efforts.
