BR-111 Selling Exclusively Through Dealer Network

Miami, FL, June 9, 2011 -— BR-111 made significant changes to its 22 year-old business model last year, bypassing distribution and selling direct to select dealers.

According to Ricardo Moraes, president, this change along with the company’s decision to publish manufacturer's suggested retail prices and sell products directly from the company's website was unprecedented.

Moraes said the company has launched new products and product lines as well as a new display system and is poised to take the next step this month.

Beginning June 1, the company’s hardwood flooring is available solely through the BR-111 exclusive dealer network.

BR-111 currently has 2,000 nationwide authorized dealers.

“There are some areas where we would like more dealers, so the plan is to expand, but the key is that we don’t want to over saturate any one area,” said Moraes.

These authorized dealers are the only retailers allowed to purchase from the company and its website.

The company said that its authorized dealers must meet the minimum requirements of having a full representation of BR-111 products by showcasing its display in their store, running regular store hours and being properly staffed.

Moraes said dealer pricing is 45 to 50% less than MSRP.
