Bentley Prince Street Sets Safety Record in 2011
Los Angeles, CA, Feb. 2, 2012 -- Bentley Prince Street reported zero lost time accidents and an all time low of only three recordable injuries in 2011.
This record-setting number for Bentley Prince Street is attributed to a number of corporate programs designed to increase overall performance by improving safety and boosting wellness.
“I could not be more proud of our safety record,” says Anthony Minite, president.
“This coming year we are taking our commitment to safety even further with safety and wellness initiatives geared to stop accidents before they happen."
The company’s comprehensive program “Do Not Gamble with Safety” emphasizes the importance of safety while instilling confidence in associates through education, training, incentives and trust building.
In 2012, the company will continue to demonstrate its serious commitment to safety by having a manager work alongside mill associates from each department to study and perform all aspects of the job. This new strategy is designed to identify hazards before they cause accidents.
In 2009, the company made some adjustments to its safety training methods and implemented the “Do Not Gamble with Safety” incentive program.
