Bentley Prince Street Lab Gets NVLAP Accreditation
Los Angeles, CA, June 7, 2006--Bentley Prince Street has long operated the only laboratory accredited by the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) in its industry on the West Coast.
The company announced today that, after once again undergoing a rigorous re-examination of its processes and procedures, its laboratory has received renewed NVLAP accreditation for Carpet and Carpet Cushion (CCC). This latest accreditation also certifies Bentley Prince Street’s laboratory to ISO/IEC 17025 standard.

NVLAP, administered by The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), provides unbiased, third-party accreditation to public and private laboratories based on evaluation of their technical qualifications and ability to perform specifics tests and calibrations compliant with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). NVLAP accreditation signifies that a laboratory has demonstrated it operates in accordance with NVLAP management and technical requirements pertaining to quality systems, personnel, accommodation and environment, test and calibration methods, equipment, measurement traceability, sampling, handling of test and calibration items and test and calibration reports. NVLAP is in full conformance with the standards of the ISO and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), including ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO/IEC 17011.
