Bentley Prince Partners with Habitat for Humanity

City of Industry, CA, October 23, 2007-- Bentley Prince Street is partnering with Habitat for Humanity in the 24th annual Jimmy Carter Work Project (JCWP), October 28-November 2 in Los Angeles.

During the weeklong project, thousands of volunteers from around the world will join former U.S. President Jimmy Carter and his wife, Rosalynn, in building 30 new homes and repairing 70 homes.

A platinum sponsor of the JCWP 2007, Bentley Prince Street is donating carpet for all 30 new homes built during the week. More than 55 Bentley Prince Street employees will volunteer.

“Social sustainability is a very important part of our mission, and a key aspect of how we measure our success as a company,” said Anthony Minite, president of Bentley Prince Street.

“Supporting the Jimmy Carter Work Project and Habitat for Humanity is a way we can make a meaningful difference in our community and help address an issue that is critical to all of us in our city.”

This will be the first Carter project to seek Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification, making the homes more sustainable and affordable for partner families.
