Bentley Prince Gets Climate Registered Status

Los Angeles, CA, Dec. 1, 2010 -- Bentley Prince Street said it has achieved Climate Registered status through The Climate Registry’s program.

Measuring its carbon footprint with The Registry allows Bentley Prince Street to prepare for future regulation, identify inefficiencies and potential for cost savings, and provide data to customers and shareholders about its environmental performance. It is the first step towards reducing energy usage, costs and carbon emissions.

“We believe that third party verification through The Climate Registry is an important step in improving our environment, community and business,” says Anthony Minite, president of Bentley Prince Street.

“It also allows our customers to see that we are committed to transparency and moving toward our Mission Zero promise.”

Bentley Prince Street is the largest commercial carpet manufacturer in California, producing and shipping more than 7 million yards of carpet each year.
