Brussels, Belgium, May 2--Unions started labor actions in Belgium's textile industry Monday demanding better pay and work conditions.
The action started in the Domo multi-national with a 24-hour strike and is set to expand to other companies over the next week.
The sector employs some 36,000 workers but employers complain they are being pressured by international competition, especially from China.
