Belak Named Oriental Weavers Sales VP

Dalton, GA, April 12, 2006--Oriental Weavers USA, Inc., promoted of Sam Belak to the position of vice president of sales for its Oriental Weavers of America brand. In his new position, Belak will be responsible for the management and development of the North American importer/manufacturer’s segments of business including home centers, mass merchants, and national retail channels. He will report directly to Mike Riley, president of Oriental Weavers USA, Inc. Belak has been with Sphinx by Oriental Weavers for over eight years as the vice president of sales for the northeast. Prior to joining the company, he was with Shaw industries for ten years in various management capacities and last served as the home center division manager for the eastern US. “Sam has a keen understanding of the market and the direction Oriental Weavers is moving globally,” says Mike Riley. “His leadership and proven success in management and market development will play a pivotal role in furthering the company’s mission and growth strategy.”
