Beazer Homes Swings To Profit, Orders Rise

Atlanta, GA, Feb. 2, 2012 -- Beazer Homes posted first quarter profit of $739,000 or $0.01 per share versus a loss of $48.81 million or $0.66 per share a year ago.

Total revenue grew to $188.5 million from $108.95 million in the prior-year quarter.

Total new orders were 724 homes, a 36% increase from the previous year.
