Beaulieu's Nexterra Gets New Zealand Certification

Adairsville, GA, Nov. 19, 2008--Beaulieu Commercial's Nexterra Carpet Tile has been awarded the Environmental Choice Certification of New Zealand

The official environmental labeling program in New Zealand, the program operates independently from the government but the label is government owned and endorsed.

Established in 1990, Environmental Choice New Zealand is a voluntary, multiple specifications based environmental labeling program that operates to international standards and principles.

The Environmental Choice certification is becoming recognized by flooring manufacturers around the world as a top environmental and sustainability benchmark for products.

“Our Nexterra carpet tile not only holds the prestigious NSF-140 Platinum certification here in the United States but now it is openly accepted by the official Global EcoLabeling Network by carrying the Environmental Choice Label of New Zealand,” said James Lesslie, president of Beaulieu Commercial.
