Beaulieu Residential Raising Carpet Prices

Dalton, GA, April 19, 2010--Due to the rising cost of raw materials, Beaulieu Residential is raising carpet prices effective with orders on May 10 and shipments on May 24.

The company is raising polypropylene prices 8% and nylon and polyester prices 5-7%.

Beaulieu said that over the past 90 days, some raw material costs have increased up to 50%, and one cost has doubled in the past year.
