Beaulieu Int'l Wins Patent Dispute With Pergo

Racine, WI, May 13, 2008--United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin on May 1 confirmed the earlier jury verdict of December 14, 2007 ruling that Beaulieu International Group did not infringe any of Pergo's patents.

In a civil action for patent infringement that was initiated in 2002, Pergo, now part of Pfleiderer AG, had accused Alloc Inc. and Berry Wood SAS, both part of Beaulieu International Group, and Armstrong World Industries Inc., one of its customers, of infringing upon two of Pergo’s patents.
