Beauflor To Enter LVT Market

Wielsbeke, Belgium, Sept. 7, 2011 -- Cushion vinyl flooring maker Beauflor, a division of Beaulieu International Group, has entered into an exclusive licensing agreement with Mei Li Sheng of Guangzhou, China, for the mechanical-locking LVT technology known as Super-Click.

The agreement with Beaulieu International Group followed Super-Click’s exhibitions at Domotex shows in Germany and Shanghai this year.

Beauflor will market the new LVT technology under the name “Dream Click,” and has decided to invest in a new high-tech production line for this type of LVT.

The new line will be installed in Beauflor’s current facilities in Wielsbeke, and should be up and running by the beginning of 2012. The products will be launched to markets in Western and Eastern Europe, Russia and North America.

Under the agreement, the developer, Mei Li Sheng, will retain rights to emerging markets in Asia, Central and South America, the Middle East, Africa and Australia and New Zealand.

The Super Click brand will be managed by a newly created entity called Super-Click International, headquartered in Lancashire, UK.

Beauflor’s Dream Click will be launched in tandem with an LVT collection called Podium.
