Charlotte, NC, September 21, 2006-- BASF announced today that it has, effective September 18, 2006, or as contracts allow, raised prices by four cents per dry pound in the United States and Canada on all Styrofan carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion polymer products supplied to the carpet industry.
This action is being taken as a result of increased energy, raw material and transportation costs.
