Barbara Corcoran Offers Business Advice at CCA Conference

Dallas, TX, January 18, 2024-Entrepreneur, investor, author and “Shark Tank” star Barbara Corcoran delivered the keynote address at CCA Global’s ConnecXtion conference, held in Dallas. Texas.

Corcoran laid out a number of principles she believes are key to a successful business:

  1. Perception creates reality.
  2. There are two types of people, expanders and containers, and it’s best to pair them up for success.
  3. Hire happy people.
  4. Fire complainers.
  5. Fun is good for business-develop it within your organization.
  6. Recognition motivates as much as money. Recognize good work with awards.
  7. Look for people in sales who can pop back up unscathed after being told “no.” 
  8. Don’t take no for an answer.
  9. Lulls are made for sharpening your sword.

Her final point was that the economy will break loose in Q3 2024.
