Usak, Turkey, August 29, 2006-- Balta Group will make its second investment, valued at 40 million euros, in the Usak Organized Industrial Zone (UOSB), said UOSB chairman Hazim Sesli.
Balta will invest in the carpet sector, both in weaving and fiber production, he told the Dogan News Agency.
The investment will make an important contribution to Usak's economy and will also create employment opportunities for 700 people, Sesli added. The first of the company's Turkish investments was in the Kamgarn fiber factory, again in the UOSB, in 1998.
