Balta Rugs Consolidates in New Office

Avelgem, Belgium, Nov. 18, 2008--Balta Rugs, the rug division of the Balta Group, has completed its move to new offices in Avelgem in West Flanders.

Previously the company was spread across sites in Avelgem and Sint-Baafs-Vijve. To centralize activities related to sales, administration, customer service, planning and marketing, 2008 saw the start of construction of a new floor on top of the existing offices of Balta Rugs in Avelgem.

The change involves 25 people moving from Sint-Baafs-Vijve to Avelgem, where from now on 725 people will be working for Balta Rugs.

“By bringing everything under one roof, we are making our internal communication quite a bit more efficient," said Marc Dessein, business unit manager.
