Balta Group Appoints New CFO

Sint-Baafs-Vijve, Belgium, June 19, 2009--Balta Group has appointed Carl Verstraelen as chief financial officer.

Verstraelen, a Belgian national who was previously CFO of Amylum Group, Lhoist Group and Agfa HealthCare, replaces Graham Hill, who has fulfilled the role during nearly one year on an interim basis.

Balta is a  European manufacturer of wall-to-wall carpets, area rugs and laminate flooring.
