Azrock To Intro New Products To Distributors

Houston, TX, Oct. 30--In one of the largest launches in its 71 year history, Azrock by Tarkett will take its newly revitalized product line on the road to more than 31 distributor locations across the country. In a launch that includes 11 new and enhanced products (over 60 new SKUs), as well as high-impact sales tools, Tarkett Commercial senior managers will meet with more than 400 distributor salespeople over an intense, three-week period. Sales representatives will have sales tools in hand 24 hours following each meeting. The campaign underscores the importance of the Azrock launch, as well as the company's commitment to direct communications with its distributors--a key conduit to the end-use customer to guarantee realistic pricing, optimum service and available stock. "This is one of the more all-encompassing and important product launches in Azrock history. Not only are we recoloring and enhancing some of our best selling products, but we're also introducing unique looks that are new to the category, including new colors and larger format tiles--all qualities designers and architects tell us they want," says Gilles de Beaumont, president, Tarkett Commercial. "While style is the most important factor to our customers, we also are incorporating product features that go beyond aesthetics--features that are important to the building industry in terms of safety, product performance, pricing and maintenance." Kathy Holdridge, director of communications, sees these meetings as critical pathways between manufacturer and distributor. "We want to create an open forum where our distributors can learn about our new products, and work closely with the Tarkett management team," she says. Our goal always has been to determine how best to service our customers and provide them access to our products and programs." The meetings will take place nationwide from November 2-21.
