Houston, TX October 6, 2004 – Design Journal magazine recently awarded Azrock by Tarkett’s StoneGlow flooring the 2003 Gold ADEX Award in the flooring category. This distinction recognizes the product as one of the premier flooring products on the market.

StoneGlow floors are designed to provide illuminated pathways in low light conditions to improve building safety while balancing design and cost requirements. The product incorporates photoluminescent chips, dispersed evenly across the tiles, which absorb and store light energy.
In normal lighting, the floor is an unobtrusive and integral part of the overall interior design. In the dark, the energy absorbed by the chips emerges as a bright glow and provides a lighted footpath. StoneGlow tiles offer visible, continuous direction for up to two hours and help ensure orderly and safe evacuation during critical periods.
