Austrian Laminate Firm Expands Manufacturing

Salzburg-Walz, Austria, May 27, 2008--The Austrian company Kaindl Flooring GmbH, based in Wals, has started operations at a new flooring mill next to its existing logistics centre in Salzburg-Wals, Euwid wood products and panels reported.

Individual plant components began manufacturing in recent weeks. The first complete production line was started up in for the first time the middle of May.

The new production line incorporates partition saws, grinding machine, scrubbers, digital printing, varnishing, profiling and packing. The individual aggregates will be integrated into the production process depending on the end product.

Kaindl is a manufacturer of refined timber products and laminate flooring.
