ASID Joins SF Mart for Green Conference

Washington, DC, September 20, 2007--The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) is partnering with the San Francisco Mart to host the Live Green, Live Well conference, the first trade and home show solely dedicated to green furnishings and design.

Taking place Sept. 19 – 20 in San Francisco attendees will discover hundreds of innovative and practical ways to incorporate sustainability into their business and personal lives.

“To practice responsibly today means embracing a commitment to use interior design to support the environment and to enhance the well being of the people living in it,” says ASID President Suzan Globus, FASID.

Not only will the expo showcase a full range of home furnishings products from established and emerging manufacturers, but designers, educators, manufacturers and individuals will also participate in educational seminars and demonstrations.
