ASCR Launches Electronic Newsletter

Millersville, MD, January 10, 2006--The Association of Specialists in Cleaning and Restoration (ASCR) has launched a new, monthly electronic newsletter-–NewsBreak--to keep members abreast of industry changes, and to cover issues affecting their day-to-day business operations. Issued mid-month, the free newsletter provides the latest news of the cleaning and restoration industry, marketing tips, information about ASCR, and a technical column with advice for frontline personnel in an easy-to-read format. NewsBreak also encourages feedback from readers through a monthly “quick poll” and other features. Business briefs provide links to longer versions of featured stories, enabling readers to capture the highlights of an article in just a few seconds. “Our members want to stay on top of critical issues affecting their businesses, but the nature of our industry often precludes their ability to do so. NewsBreak provides important information in a succinct format, and this is just one of the many value-added changes coming out of ASCR,” said ASCR president, Bill Lakin, CR.
