Armstrong's Lockhart Joins NAFCD's Panel D

Chicago, IL, Aug. 12--Armstrong chairman and CEO Michael D. Lockhart will participate in an industry panel discussion hosted by the National Association of Floor Covering Distributors (NAFCD). The panel discussion will feature executives of four leading floorcovering manufacturers in the panel discussion "State of the Industry: Viewpoints From Floor Covering Leaders" at the NAFCD's 32nd Annual Meeting, "Leaders Meeting Leaders," September 5 to 7 at the Westin Michigan Avenue in Chicago. Michael D. Lockhart is chairman of the board and CEO of Armstrong Holdings, the parent company of Armstrong World Industries, headquartered in Lancaster, PA. Lockhart was previously chairman and CEO of General Signal, a diversified manufacturer headquartered in Stamford, CT. He joined General Signal as president and COO in September 1994. For 13 years prior to that, Lockhart worked for General Electric. The panel discussion also brings together Tom S. Davis, president and CEO of Mannington Mills; Roger Marcus, president and CEO of Congoleum Corporation; and Ulf Mattsson, president and CEO of Domco Tarkett.
