Armstrong Tile Wins Best of Show Award

Lancaster, PA, Oct. 21, 2008--Migrations BioBased Tile by Armstrong Commercial Floors took top honors in the 2008 Symposium Distinction Awards sponsored by FacilityCare Magazine, winning both Architect's Choice and Best in Show.
 
The awards were presented during the Healthcare Facilities Symposium & Expo held in Chicago from Sept. 9-11, with a total attendance of 2,274 and an exhibit floor that offered the largest selection of exhibitors in the show’s history with 230 different companies on display.

The  competition honored design teams and individuals who have made a significant contribution to the healthcare design industry and also recognized the best and most innovative new products exhibited at the symposium.
  
Migrations tile is made from limestone and a binder that uses Armstrong’s proprietary polymer BioStride, made from domestically grown corn.

BioStride polymer replaces petroleum polymers. The tile also uses 10 percent post industrial recycled material.
