Armstrong Revamps Flooring Products Management
Lancaster, PA, Jan. 28--Armstrong Worldwide Flooring Products has restructured its management team, capping a number of strategic changes the company has made over the past 18 months. The revamped management team continues to be led by president Chan Galbato. Frank Ready has been named senior vice president of world operations and will oversee resilient and wood product manufacturing; the sourcing of all products and raw materials; product distribution; as well as environmental health and safety. “Frank will continue to forge the strategic link that we’ve developed between marketing, sales and manufacturing. We want all our customers, across many geographies and lifestyles, to see that the flooring we bring to market is attune to their tastes and values and meets their emerging needs,” Galbato said. Michael Badar will be senior vice president of North American sales & marketing. Badar is responsible for all market functions in North America, including sales, marketing, product management, distribution, styling and customer service. “Michael has demonstrated his abilities, helping to lead the resurgence of our wood flooring products. His business knowledge and experience, combined with his focus on process improvement, will bring valuable insights to the sales & marketing organization,” said Galbato. Reporting to Badar are the heads of the North American flooring sales organizations: Rik Born, vice president of distributor sales; Tyrone Johnson, general manager of residential resilient, laminate and ceramic sales; Drew Hash, general manager of residential wood sales; and Randy Gablehouse, general manager of commercial sales. Also reporting to Badar are customer service heads Charles Wrightson, general manager of resilient flooring; Shannon Shuflat, general manager of wood products; Roger Oates, vice president of marketing for product management; Joe Thompson, vice president of wood products; Allen Cubell, vice president, Vinyl Products; Kevin Biedermann, general manager of laminate; Milton Goodwin, general manager of ceramic; Melvin Burkhardt, general manager of new product development; and Mary Angela Kenney, general manager of product styling & design.
