Armstrong Raising Resilient Prices in June

Lancaster, PA, May 10, 2011 -- Armstrong said it will increase prices 6-8% in the U.S. and Canada on vinyl composition tile, commercial and residential luxury vinyl tile, and residential sheet and tile.

In addition, the firm will increase prices 8-10% on wall base and installation, maintenance and accessories.

The increases are effective June 27.

“Our industry continues to experience rising raw materials, energy and logistics costs. We anticipate this higher cost structure to remain in place throughout 2011 and beyond,” said Kevin M. Biedermann, senior vice president, Armstrong Floor Products.
