Armstrong Raises Prices on Resilient Products
Lancaster, PA, September 6, 2007-- Armstrong said it will raise prices 5% on its vinyl composition tile and commercial sheet vinyl products, and 4% to 5% on select residential resilient sheet products, both effective with shipments on October 15.
“Prices for key raw materials, particularly plasticizer and vinyl resin are continuing to escalate due both to tight global supply and increasing input costs for these materials,” said Dominic Rice, vice president, product management, commercial flooring. “Our continuing productivity improvements cannot offset the full cost impact of these increases, making this price increase necessary.”
