Armstrong Names New VP, Global Staffing

Lancaster, PA, April 14, 2006--Armstrong Holdings, Inc. announced Mary Britt Tetro has been named vice president, global staffing, Armstrong World Industries, Inc. "We are excited to have Mary join us," said Donald A. McCunniff, vice president, human resources. "She is a talented and accomplished leader with a strong record of achievement across a broad range of human resources disciplines. I look forward to the contributions she will make in the human resources organization." Tetro comes to Armstrong from Pitney Bowes Inc., a $5.5 billion provider of mailstream software, hardware, services and solutions, where she served as vice president, HRIS Strategic Architecture. She joined Pitney Bowes in 1995 and transitioned through various executive HR positions in staffing, worldwide information technology, and software solutions. Prior to Pitney Bowes, she was worldwide operations manager for human resources at Digital Equipment Corporation. A graduate of Emmanuel College with a bachelor's degree in sociology and behavioral sciences, Tetro received her master's degree in public administration from Clark University.
