Lancaster, PA, December 14--Armstrong Floor Products has expanded its offering of resilient residential sheet flooring for home builders and property managers interested in increased design options for their residential customers. Armstrong has integrated several new easy-care designs and colors into its Canyon Creek, Enhancements and Initiator residential vinyl sheet lines, mimicking the natural beauty and endurance of stone, marble and ceramic. Armstrong's design team responded to "invaluable feedback from experts in the homebuilding industry" to create the original vinyl additions, according to Bruce Woodruff, general manager for builder marketing. "This investment in market research and product development represents an investment in our partners, who depend on Armstrong to regularly update its resilient flooring lines to reflect changing trends and residential needs," Woodruff said. "Broadening the vinyl product selection for residential customers can only help professional builders and property managers successfully meet the expectations of their customers." Over the past year, Armstrong's design representatives visited key builder markets and met with builder designers, design center managers and subcontractors to seek their input for additions to the resilient residential sheet product line. Armstrong designers combined that information with recent design trends, Armstrong's sophisticated technology and ToughGuard durability, and—for Canyon Creek—the extreme realism afforded by Armstrong's MasterWorks Technology. All of the added designs feature 18-inch pattern matches to meet the installation requirements of subcontractors and the sales needs of retailers. Canyon Creek A hallmark of Canyon Creek is its use of Armstrong's exclusive MasterWorks Technology, an exceptionally advanced process that provides the most realistic visuals possible, dramatically enhancing the clarity of the floor's design and reflecting the subtle nuances of nature. Canyon Creek has complemented its array of authentic colors with the addition of Honey to its Carrizo 9-by-9-inch stone paver line, complete with true-to-life grout imaging. The Canyon CreekTM design options have grown as well, with the debut of Four Corners, featuring the realism of four-sectioned, 9-inch paving stone in four warm earth tones.
