Armstrong Executive Vice President Leaving Firm

Lancaster, PA, Nov. 10, 2009--Armstrong World Industries said that F. Nicholas Grasberger, executive vice president of Armstrong Building Products, is leaving the company after five years.

"During his tenure, Nick was instrumental in the Company's emergence from bankruptcy, including leading the Company's recapitalization. He also played a leadership role through the Company's 12-month review of strategic alternatives," said Chairman and CEO Michael D. Lockhart.

David Cookson, senior vice president, will provide interim leadership for ABP Americas. Mike Connors will coordinate the global activities of ABP.
