Armstrong Cabinets Tops Customer Satisfaction

Lancaster, PA, July 9, 2007-- Armstrong cabinets rank highest overall among cabinet manufacturers in J.D. Power and Associates' first Cabinet Satisfaction Study.

The study was based on five factors, listed in order of importance: operational performance; ordering and delivery; design features; price competitiveness; and warranty. Armstrong ranked highest overall, performing particularly well in operational performance and design features.

President and CEO of Armstrong Cabinet Products Robert M. Cohen said, "Armstrong's highest ranking in this independent study is testimony to the skills and talents of our 1,350 cabinet employees and their dedication to providing quality products and superior customer service."

According to the study, "While the look and finish of cabinetry is likely to first attract buyers, functionality and the ordering and delivery process are the key drivers of customer satisfaction."

According to J.D. Power and Associates, while buyers may be drawn to the aesthetic features of cabinets as they make their purchasing decisions, it's important for them to also consider durability and how smoothly the cabinets operate.

Customers are looking for ease and convenience in the ordering process, as well as timely and accurate delivery of their cabinet orders, especially since late or incomplete deliveries can delay or add costs to construction or remodelling projects.

Armstrong cabinets received the highest numerical score among cabinetry brands in the proprietary J.D. Power and Associates 2007 Cabinet Satisfaction Study(SM). Study based on responses from 842 consumers measuring seven brands and measures opinions of consumers who purchased new cabinetry within the previous 12 months. Proprietary study results are based on experiences and perceptions of consumers surveyed in April-May 2007. Your experiences may vary.
