Armstrong Beginning Retail Push in India

Lancaster, PA, April 20, 2011 -- Armstrong World Industries Inc. said it is opening its first retail outlet in India near Mumbai.

Located at Khopat, Thane and run by Saif Enterprises, the 320 square foot store is will exhibit the Armstrong's ceilings and floorings products.

Armstrong said it plans to roll out about 600-1000 retail outlets in India over the next four years and focus the expansion in Delhi, NCR, Mumbai and Bangalore region in the next year.
