Anso Nylon to Hold Third Annual Fall Carpet Sale

Dalton, GA, Apr. 27--Honeywell Nylon's third annual “Anso Nylon National Carpet Sale” will be held Sept. 1 through Oct. 16. The event is designed to drive consumer awareness and increase sales during the busiest carpet-buying season of the year. Qualified Anso Advantage Account (AAA) dealers are invited to register from May 1 to June 15 to participate in the multi-pronged promotion offering an expanded array of incentives for consumers and retailers. Building on the success of the past two years, Anso nylon is upping the ante in 2004. The theme for this year’s event, “Time for Changing Colors,” plays off the changing colors of the fall season while suggesting to consumers that now is the perfect time to take a new look at the color of their interior environments--including their carpet. According to the Color Marketing Group, the “in” colors for 2004 will be taking their cues directly from nature, providing an even stronger connection with the sale’s theme and the supporting marketing materials being provided to participating dealers. A new element for this year’s event is a retail salesperson sweepstakes. One salesperson from each of Anso nylon’s five U.S. regions will be chosen to win a five-day Caribbean cruise for two, redeemable throughout 2005. Only retail salespeople with participating dealers are eligible to win. Winners will be selected in a random drawing in mid-December 2004. Participating dealers will have the opportunity to maximize their co-op funds through a comprehensive and targeted marketing campaign designed to increase consumer awareness and in-store traffic for their locations. Dealers can utilize pre-prepared radio and newspaper ads, a consumer direct mail campaign, and in-store, point-of-purchase materials. The sale will be promoted through Anso nylon’s consumer website (www.ansonylon.com), as well as through an expanded two-month ad campaign on HGTV.com, which will run during the entire length of the promotion.
